The Petz Breeder's Alliance is a club open to all petz (original breeds, hexed breeds, wild animals, etc). There is something for everyone here. At the PBA you can enjoy the thrill of competing without the worry of extreme critique because most things around here are left up to lady luck herself! Lemme explain...
[x] Pose shows and sporting events are as easy as entering the name of the dog/cat, a relevant picture, and your kennel/cattery PBA registration # and letting luck decide the outcome.
- You enter the name of your pet in a show/event (after registering [here]), and the names of all the entrants are put into a randomizer x amount of times (as many times as there are entrants in the show), thus how BIS-HM (or winner, depending on type of event) are chosen.
- Each time your pet wins a show/event, they gain experience, thus allowing them to have a better chance of winning the next time they enter a show/event. By experience, it means their name is entered double upon their 1st win (when entering what would be their 2nd event), three times the next, four times the next, etc., up until a total maximum of 5 times. So, at a maximum, a pet can have a 5x advantage over another pet.
[x] Anyone may host a PBA event, however, winners must be chosen on a completely random basis. How you get that randomization is up to you. I personally use random.org. If you are hosting events, also be aware that petz entering with previous wins get more of an advantage following the explanation above. If you would like to host an event for those petz without any wins yet or only a certain amount of wins, that is absolutely fine, just state that event is as such in your individual rules. You can keep track of your pet's wins [here] by creating your own kennel/cattery page!
[x] Being that everything is random, those hosting events may enter their own event if they please. Clearly state which of your petz is a contender if you are doing so when you create your event. Don't cheat either, that's obviously a given. Keep it random.
[x] PBA also offers traditional shows/events/competitions [here]. Anyone may host any type of petz competition/show/event, etc., just remember points earned in this board are not to be put toward PBA titles. Standard show points/titles are used in this board. If you do not know what standard show points/titles are, see a reference [here].
[x] Anyone may participate in The Breeding Bin, just be sure to follow the guidelines [here].
[x] All normal forum rules apply at the PBA as well...no pornographic content of any kind allowed, keep foul language to a minimum, it is okay to double post, so long as you are not spamming up the forum for no reason, it is okay to have whatever you want in your signature/avatar, so long as it is not so big you're making people scroll their screen just for your stuff...just be considerate.
This guide book will be amended as needed.
