Change A Letter Game

Rules:



The person posting a thread puts one word, and one word only. Then, the next poster has to modify the word by changing as FEW letters from the word as possible. The person can also add and take away letters, but the point is that all words have to exist and be real words. Proper nouns can also count.



For example:



Say the thread-poster posts the word

House



Then, the next poster has to modify that word. I would change 1 letter, to make

Horse



Then, the next person would change that word.

Horde (changed one more letter)



Another person may have to add a letter to make a legitimate word...

Horder



And then the next person might take away a letter...

Order

(etc.)



The goal of the game: To never get a word that is practically unchangeable. If this happens, we all start over!
